Our Refuge
To most people, this was just another office. They would have driven past without giving it a second thought. But to us, it became something completely different. It became a place where we could step away from the noise, the uncertainty, and all the complications that surrounded our lives at the time.
When we were here, the rest of the world seemed to disappear for a little while. We laughed, dreamed, talked about the future, and imagined what our life together might someday become. Those conversations gave me hope, and being with you gave me peace.
Looking back now, I realize this place was never really about four walls and an office door. It was about finding someone who felt like home. Long before we had a house, a patio, family gatherings, and grandchildren running around, I had already found the place where I belonged. It wasn’t a building. It was wherever I was with you.
The dreams we shared here eventually became the life we’re living today. Every time I think about this place I’m reminded that some of the greatest chapters of our story began in the most unexpected places.
